Ek baar ek kaua tha. Ek din vah bahut pyaasa tha. Vah paanee kee talaash mein idhar-udhar uda. Usane ek jag dekha. Isamen paanee thoda tha. Uskee chonch paanee tak nahin pahunch sakee. Kaua bahut chatur tha. Usane ek yojana sochee. Vah pattharon ke kuchh tukade laaya usane unhen jag mein daale. Paanee oopar aa gaya. Usane paanee piya. Vah bahut khush hua. Vah ud gaya.

The Thirsty Crow

Once upon a time there was a crow. One day he was very thirsty. He flew around in search of water. He saw a jug. There was little water in it. His beak could not reach the water. The crow was very clever. He thought of a plan. He brought some pieces of stones and put them in the jug. The water came up. He drank the water. He was very happy. He flew away.
